Valhalla provide open source routing software. It includes routing and navigation software with a design tailored to make it flexible and extensible. Costing is dynamic and computed at run-time allowing many different routing options and modes. Valhalla also includes tools for analysis like time-distance matrix, route optimization, and isochrones - each using the dynamic costing methods. In addition, recent work has been done to create persistent road segment identifiers (called OSMLR) that can be used along with map-matching to associate custom data to roads. This paves the way for custom costing methods to integrate user data into routing and mobility applications.
